About Mr. WelnaNick Welna is the AP United States History teacher at Freedom Prep High School. This is his second year teaching APUSH, and his fifth year as a teacher. Since graduating from Carleton College in 2012, he has spent his entire teaching career at FPA.
In his free time, Mr. Welna enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, going to Grizzlies games, hiking, and watching movies. He is also a committed activist, having participated in movements such as Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter. He was born in Brazil, but grew up in South Bend, Indiana. Now that he has followed his wife to her hometown, he is a proud Memphian. |
